Get started with PriceFlux in just a few minutes. This guide will walk you through installing the app and completing your initial setup.

Prerequisites

Before installing PriceFlux, ensure you have:

• A Shopify store (any plan)
• Admin access to your Shopify store
• At least 90 days of sales history for accurate baseline analysis

Step 1: Install from Shopify App Store

1. Visit the PriceFlux app listing in the Shopify App Store
2. Click "Add app" to install PriceFlux to your store
3. Review the permissions and click "Install app"

What happens after installation

• No waiting required: Your store is ready to use immediately after installation.
• On‑demand data: Product and sales data are fetched as needed during rule creation and analysis flows. There’s no long initial sync for you to wait on.
• Familiar UX: When you build filters and preview results, the app retrieves exactly the data it needs in real time.

Rule evaluation schedule (important)

• Daily reanalysis: The dynamic pricing engine refreshes performance data once per day.
• When changes take effect: New or edited rules are picked up on the next daily reanalysis. Price changes will not execute immediately at the moment of rule creation.
• What to expect: If you create or adjust a rule today, expect it to be evaluated and (if conditions are met) executed after the next daily cycle, typically within 24 hours.

Troubleshooting

Installation Issues

App won't install

• Ensure you have admin permissions on your Shopify store
• Try installing from a different browser or incognito mode
• Contact support if the issue persists

I don’t see changes right away

• This is expected. Rules are evaluated during the daily reanalysis window. Your changes will apply after the next cycle.

Missing order data

• Ensure your store has recent sales. Historical data improves analysis quality.
